In Holland there is this great indoor playground aimed at kids 0-8 that is staffed/run by a local community agency. It's called Deanna's Playhouse and for 5 bucks per person (usually can get coupons or they only charge for the first adult) the kids can run, play, explore, etc. There are crafts, music, big ride on toys, a boat, a stage, dress up clothes, a road, bball hoops, a grocery store, bank and house, you name it, they have it. Totally kid and parent friendly. Changing tables in both bathrooms, low toilets for those that are trained, a 'cafe' for eating your snacks, just about everything you could need and you can view the whole place from just about any spot there.
We went today for some out of the house energy burning action and it made for a great day. We've been once with daddy on a Saturday and dubbed it the inside playground as opposed to the outside playground that we go to at the local elementary school. Under construction by the way, so we won't be able to go visit for a while. Both times we have been there have only been a few other families there so it is like having the place to your self. Deanna might be my favorite new friend this summer. What a find.
